^Our very first picture together 🙂
From the time Jeremy and I met I knew there was something different (in a good way of course). He is so sweet and a true gentleman. We met after an Alabama football game where I was hanging out with one of my best friends who was down for the weekend and he was with his friends. For those of you who don’t know, I attend the University of Alabama where I live in Tuscaloosa. He came up and introduced himself and we ended up talking all night. The next day, I received a text asking if I wanted to do lunch and so we did. From then on we started going on more dates. He lives about an hour from Tuscaloosa so it was always convenient. We started dating two months after we met, October 31, 2014.
We recently celebrated our “one year” of being together and it’s been one of the best years. He is truly the love of my life and best friend. We always have so much fun together. He also treats me with so much respect and I can be my total self around him. That’s how it is suppose to be when you meet your true love.
How He Proposed
He proposed on November 28th, this past Saturday at my cousin’s wedding. The proposal could not have been more sweet or perfect to me. It was everything I had dreamed of and more.
My cousin got engaged about two years ago and I got to be apart where I hid and took pictures. So her and her husband being involved in mine was very special to me. They mean a lot to Jeremy and I and I thank them for sharing their big day with us. Lauren (my cousin) is one of my very best friends and we have always been really close.
^The Newly Weds! 🙂
We all know that there is a bouquet toss at every wedding and the one who catches is it the one who is to be married next. When she went to throw it she turned around and handed it to me. I was then turned around to see Jeremy on one knee with the song “Like Jesus Does” by Eric Church playing. I was so shocked and emotional, it was the best ever. I of course said YES and it is the best feeling ever being engaged to your true love!
^The next morning 🙂 .. The wedding party stayed on Pensacola Beach so we took some pics on the balcony!
